Difficulty

This piece is very difficult from a technical standpoint. There are fast rhythms, multiphonics, and other extended techniques. It is probably beyond the abilities of most undergraduate students.

Style

This piece is in the avant-garde style, and it includes turning out the lights for sections of the piece with loud, jarring, electronic sounds. It may be a difficult piece for audiences unaccustomed to this style of music.
